Simply the Best Pizza in Connecticut
Simply the Best Pizza in Connecticut:
Holidays are only a few days away. But make sure to not neglect that other great love in your life — pizza.
Believe it or not, Feb. 9 is National Pizza Day. Yes, there’s pretty much a national day for everything you can imagine. March 1 actually has five of them — National Dadgum That’s Good Day, National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day, National Fruit Compote Day, National Horse Protection Day and National Pig Day. But, for our money, National Pizza Day belongs in the pantheon of national days.
So, what’s the best way to celebrate? By eating pizza, of course. But there are so many choices, especially here in Connecticut. Let us help you decide. Read on to find out why we’re so crazy about pizza and why we are the best.
It’s something in the water…or at least that’s what they’ll have you believe. One of the oldest theories about New York City pizza is that the city’s tap water is responsible for its superior taste. Many Americans might not know that here in the Big Apple, we’re almost as proud of our water as we are of our pizza, and that the city has been adding fluoride to the water for more than 50 years. But do fluoride and the other dissolved solids and minerals really make a difference when pizza dough is being torched at such high temperatures? Just kidding?
One emerging theory is that the main reason for our high-quality pies is not the water, nor the ingredients, but rather Experienced Pizza Makers. We have more than 30 years of experience. This would explain why we make such a phenomenal pizza.
The generally agreed-upon best-of-the-best in Connecticut pizza. Our pizzeria are often at the top of national lists and have competed with each other for decades, much to the delight of pizza fans.
